Mrs Licia Tavormina

In 2002 she graduated with a first class honours degree in Law from the University of Palermo and in 2003 she obtained a Masters Degree in Corporate Law from LUISS Management in Rome. Since 2005 she has been a member of the Bar of Palermo.

She holds a research doctorate position at the University of Palermo, after receiving the University Medal in 2005 for a research doctorate in General Private Law, entitled “Collective inhibitory actions to safeguard consumers”.

She has worked for Palmigiano Law Firm since 2006, specialising in contract, banking, antitrust and administrative law matters for businesses and individuals.

Since 2006 she has also carried out research for the Institute of Law, Economy and Technology of the Rosselli Foundation of Turin on judicial-administrative and consumer protection issues.

Her further tittles and appointments are as follows :

  • 2008 until present: arbitrator at the Arbitration Court of Palermo; and
  • 2011 until present : mediator in Alternative Dispute Resolution.

She has an good knowledge of English and fairly good knowledge of German.
